1How does it work?
We use the PRP from your blood to inject and apply topically to the scalp along with an exclusive, leading-edge growth factor serum that stimulates hair growth.
2How long does it take to see results?
Typically as early as 8-10 weeks. You have to keep in mind that most types of hair loss take years to occur. Results vary.
3Does it hurt?
We use a special numbing cream to take away any discomfort. You are awake during the entire procedure. Following the procedure you may experience some scalp tenderness for a couple hours but, nothing significant.

7What is Platelet Rich Plasma?
PRP is a small portion taken from you blood where we rely on the platelets to release growth factors to stimulate growth naturally.
8What are the side effects?
There may be some discomfort after the procedure or a tingling sensation in the scalp. We have never had any adverse effects from the procedure.
9How long do results last?
Everyone is different. We recommend that patients follow-up annually after having their first series of treatments. This will maintain or even boost results.
10How many treatments can I have?
Because the treatment uses your own platelets your body won’t reject it, thus you can undergo the treatment as many times as you like. Though we wouldn’t recommend more often than once a month.
11Can I shower afterwards?
Yes, the day of the treatment we recommend rinsing the scalp with warm water and you may return to your regular routine the following day.
12What do I need to do to prepare?
It is important to drink plenty of fluids and be sure to avoid taking any NSAIDs or anti-inflammatory drugs at least 1 week prior to getting treatment.
13What types of hair loss has it worked on?
Very common androgenic alopecia in both men and women, traumatic or tension alopecia, alopecia areata, to more complicated causes such as chemotherapy induced alopecia and circatricial alopecia.
14What is the suggested time between treatments?
We recommend getting treatments 4-6 weeks apart
15Is this treatments safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
Yes. Because our treatments use your own blood there are no adverse side effects or risk of an allergic reaction occurring, the growth factors stay local, and all treatments are custom-tailored to fit your individual situation.
